Whilst page 3 of the manual does give you a detailed map of the acupressurereflexology principles used by therapists the automatic massager is not very targeted in the way a therapist would focus on particular issues in fact based on the therapies i have had from reflexologists and some reiki practitioners who use acupressure i would suggest you dont expect more than a generic benefit

In starting with this massager you should workout how sensitive your feet are since if your feet are very sensitive you could probably gain some benefit but when you adjust it do not do so with your feet in the machine

Not to put too fine a point on it i started it up and the pressure was too high and it was very uncomfortable

The second item in the manual is probably something you will change if you use the massager regularly the times available are 10 minutes 15 minutes and 20 minutes the machine will automatically turn off at the end of the period
