Pros
If you're a * networking person, the edgemax is for you. Can do both 24v poe and poe+. Working on setting up a mesh wireless system with this powering the wired access points.
Meant to be used behind a usg but not mandatory. If you're already using the unifi ecosystem, this is a great addition.
Great product. Great design works perfectly! Arrived as expected.
The unifi controller is mature now and combing the switch with other unifi devices gives a great console view of the network.
Cons
The switch just dies young. They have a nice interface, cost less than the competition, however they are junk. Support is pretty non-existent.

The first thing i noticed pulling them out of their boxes is that feel well made the dog ears are permanently attached and are a thick metal

Ports are neatly labeled and clear status lights are clearly identified for speed and poe status
