Pros
The thi switch just works. Tl;dr - thi switchjust works. I plugged it in, followed the quick start guide and was up and running in no time.
The poe switch is excellent as part of that unifi system and an excellent switch itself. I now have two access points (powered by this switch, one uses 24v passive, the other poe+. The smart poe+ is pretty cool. Ethernet.
They quiet down a lot after a few minutes when the initial startup is complete. Fans in this switch are always on and can be a bit noisy. Fans are much quieter than my previous switch and i believe it even draws less power.
Extremely satisfied with the plug and play nature of ubiquity equipment. Looks great and is well made. Very nicely packaged.
Cons
A number of blogs out there are littered with complaints of these switches failing pre-maturely. Comes with 1 year warranty only.
That means uninstall, reset, re-install. If you are looking for something that is actually configurable for modern networks, this is not the switch for you.

They end up getting confused sometimes and the configs get messed up
What keeps me with the unifi system besides the management is the commercial quality

I picked up this item to power my gen2 cloud key plus and several security cameras along with nonpoe connections
Ive been using ubiquiti products for years now recently went with the unifi product line

For a business with a network room or a well isolated closet this would probably be fine but the fan is basically always running

You used to be able to adjust fan settings in the controller but ubiquiti removed that option apparently
