Pros

Cable modem with a switch and poe switch (for poe ip cameras) now, it connects instantly and turns the item on or off. But will work great once configured successfully.

The range of this device is great. I figured that it would get me a bit outdoors, it works great for a distance. Other than going out to the front curb -- furthest place from these access points, i get a good 20+ mbps everywhere.

Ubiquiti loco m2 wifi is truly awesome. Installed this on the side of the building to broadcast the wifi. It seamlessly meshes with my ap-ac-lite and bandwidth is excellent.

Cons

Button fails mechanically rendering entire radio useless. Can't even * a glass window. This means i can no longer update firmware or change password.

Bought the antenna mount with it and put this on my abandoned by my old provider not functional

Workplace uses these at locations around the us and they work very well for being under 100

That’s pretty good for units under 100 bucks each

I have managed to cover about 4 acres with wifi for under 300 total

It is packed with lots of feature even without having a unifi security gateway

Competitiveness

I have had excellent results with these compared to other brands and will be sticking with this brand

Its been a long time since ive setup an ap and i remember the last time it was a pain setting up the ap on a same branded router

I can add others albeit with power solar at a later date to extend it even further
