This router is pro gear and features at a consumer gear price. Paired with ubiquiti mesh ap's, it’s an amazing value to blaze gige across a building with no other gear needed.

Quality

This router has run for months without issue exceptional performance with the qos reducing bufferbloat to nothing

It has done a great job so far and as a result of that install visa tweaked openbsd octeon to support smp on this hardware out of the box

Poe 2 and 4 pair all 5 ports can have software enabled as a switch dual wan with traffic balancing and fall over and fanless

Just enable logging and the erx hit diskfull and stop working in two weeks

All in all i think its very good for the price

It arrived backrevd on the firmware but it is a matter of a couple of commands to reflash it to the latest version

It’s an awesome little box and i’d buy it again

The performance is much better than the asus rt86u and ax11000 that i have

If you want to have wifi the edgerouter wont do that either consider trying one of ubiquitis unifi wireless access points instead
