It randomly records loud static sounds that will rupture your ear drums on playback. Barely picks up voices and there is tons of background noises. No volume on play back.

I needed something i could carry anywhere to save ideas on and save audio podcasts on to work on later

I got my recorder back in may of 2015 an i just try ed to put music on it from my media player it will not except anything
