I have seen some wear off on the bars underneath the silverware basket holder but again that could be due to my not waiting long enough between coats so i wouldnt count that against the product

The dishwasher rack had several vertical tangs that were rusted as the plastic coating had come off of the tips

I used the 80 tipgoop to repair the racks on my dishwasher that works terrifically but looks awful due to rust on the racks and therefore my dishes

I took the extra precaution of emptying it and leaving it to dry out for two days before repairing using the instructions

I never used the heat option on my dishwasher anyway but wouldnt recommend it in case it melts or softens the vinyl
