Pros & Cons
Pros
The sound from this tt is superior. Bass is clear instead of muddy, the mids are present on an equal and engaging level. Highs soar but still keeps it all grounded. The tt looks and sounds amazing.
A fantastic product from a fantastic company. Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on this, and help support this great company. I contact uturn and they were extremely quick and efficient with getting a replacement to me asap.
Great minimalist turntable. Attention to detail and simplicity of design exceeds what you would get in consumer stuff. It's sits beautifully in the living room.
The uturn orbit plus turntable protects the stylus and the record. Depending on your price-range, dedication to vinyl, and use for it, it's simply perfect. The sound vinyl produces is so rich and full compared to digital formats.
A lot of people are concerned there isn't an anti-skate adjustment. Mine has the preamp and the cue lever. My only gripe is the round belt is way too easy to accidentally pull off.
Cons
Slips at 45 rpm and just falls off at 33 rpm. I fear the hinges would eventually break giving that the folding spot it merely plastic.

If all you want is plugandplay out of the box then this will be no big deal for you
Competitiveness
On the flip side they dont go esoteric on materials and pseudo science to jack up the price either
I bought a tonearm lifter separately and that was easy
Vintage manual turntables almost all have a tonearm actuated switch to turn them off
