The brushes are terrible! The paint is runny and not thick at all like oil paint should be. Poorly packaged not recommended to get it as a gift.

This is a good product to get people who have wanted to try oil painting but thought that it was too expensive for them

Update do yourself a favor and buy a smooth pallet the one that comes with the kit is good for water colors but not so good for oil or acrylic paints
