Pros & Cons
Pros
It is very rugged for the price. No issues at all.
The bese antenna is a comet x50 which is available on amazon. It is a decent transceiver, if you have a wouxun or a baofeng. This radio talks to my repeater over 70 miles a way from it.
Easy to program with the supplied (or downloadable) programming software. I do like the dsc n & i plus encode and decode being separate. Easy to open up and add an external connector for connecting to a vehicle intercom system.

Price
Good deal 220 440 2 meter monoband radios
Best compact radio out on the market especially for the price
Very good price for a good radio
Less than half the price for the exact same thing
Shipping
Complete unlock info should be shipped with the unit from the usa supplier
I would purchase another unit if the supplier would unlock the unit prior to shipment or provide accurate info on how to unlock
Packaging/appearance
I am very happy arrived in good condition thankyou
The only complaint is the way tyt advertises the back lighting color on all the packaging making it appear yaesu like
The box says 6545w but the instructions actually say the power settings are hi65w med25w low10w
Competitiveness
Very good puts out 67 watts and the rx is better than my alinco
Keeps up with the more well known brands would definately buy again
Theres a company out there selling an identical twin repackaged copy for about 3x the price but youd be crazy to buy those radios
Even though the radio looks very similar like the btech 5001 it is a different radio on the inside completely different and menu
