Good speaker, tx audio and good receive sensitivity. I have a friend who has one of these, always sounds excellent with stock mic. Transmit and receive audio are good, receiver sensitivity is on par with other rigs.
It give a legit 50 watts and 40 on 2m and 440. If the radio fails to power up, the remedy is the fuse.
Tyt seems to have cured it's glitches and the plus model seems to be working well. The best news is that it didn’t matter! Update on mar 2019 review.
Cons
This has the worst receiver i've ever owned. This radio is a 100% disappointment.
Will read and write to radio but will error when keying up the mic. There is a very annoying beep that keeps coming back even if you mute it.

34still waiting to see if seller will ship a newer cable asap or if the whole unit goes back to amazon in a nolabel return
Although there are lots of driver downloads the programing cable shipped cannot use any new driver or even run in 34compatability mode
After a brief exchange via amazon they offered to send me a replacement if i shipped my original radio back
I received this radio quickly i have nothing but praise for dx and their employees

The box arrived without any tape or seal so it may have been opened before or could be an open box display unit from somewhere

Although there are versions of the programing cable that ship with this radio work with win 11 this ships with the old cable that cannot be upgraded with a new driver to win 11

They have said it will be two weeks to get a functioning cable after asking for an address which the amazon messenger app says to never give
