Pros

This radio is a tri-band radio, meaning it operates on 2 meter, 1. Meter and 2 meter bands. It comes with 3 antennas, including a tri-band antenna that will work for all three radio bands. You can easily change the repeater numbers and tones.

As delivered i can easily get a full days' use without recharging. The seller has a small website on which he sells spare batteries, and a battery eliminator that you plug into a car cigarette lighter. Standby batter life us excellent.

September 7 update. Randin confed radio group rating :a+++p. This is a great radio and i have just about every brand and model at this point.

The tyt th350 always receives the signals compared to the baofeng rarely breaking the lowest squelch setting

I know apples and oranges but since the 8000d is a great radio i thought a comparison would be appropriate
