Cons

My major complaint is with haller's dialogue. The dialog when he speaks to his brother/ lawyer is ridiculous. Much of the premise regarding motivation is wrongheaded.

It plods like a donkey, no character development, no excitement, just one boring step at a time. This plot barely suspends disbelief. The plot-line seems tired and stilted.

Michael connelly appears to be having his * books written by someone else. Acknowledgment page appears to suggest. This isn't the tough harry * that i've read all my life.
