The inner holder goes all round the phone so the phone is safe if or when it is dropped

The controls on the the phone work perfectly through the holder the sound on calls is great and it doesn’t get in the way of the camera

Haven’t dropped it yet but the phone appears to be protected all the way round with the casing

A very good quality phone cover but as other have pointed out it is very chunky that does suggests that it would give adequate protection to the phone if dropped

Although i like the case hence the 5 score my phone will not now fit the dedicated phone compartment in my car so i shall probably have to get a case that is not so chunky for use in the car
