The elongated shape gravity activated side latches and stainless steel spring within the shaft makes for a muchimproved press imo

If need be the press can be opened with one hand by unlatching one side while holding down the lid then gradually shifting the lid to undo the other latch

The nappa initially needs to be covered with the saltwater solution only halfway when pressed

Within minutes less than an hour the nappa will settle causing the shaft to extend and the nappa will be completely covered
