Pros
Cable loop easy to use on backpack and suitcase. Use them to secure boxed files in zippable/lockable storage bags. I like the thin cable since zippers have a small hole.
Included was an instruction booklet. Combination was easily set and easy lock/unlock. Very easy to use and obviously easy to read instructions. Easy to adjust combination.
Keep that in mind. Highly reliable when used indoors. No complaints.
Cons
This version, from forge, is noticeably more cheaply made. They typically have no failures and falsely give a high rating.
The combination wheel has a noticeable detent for each numeral. Out of 4 locks received, only 2 are usable. Retried programming with zero success. The lever on both of them is stuck, so there is no way to reprogram them.
The package was delivered opened. Lost the other in transit on the way back. No time to reorder more for our trip. This is 2 days over the deadline for returns.
