With cheeses we found it worked particularly well with stilton as the unique sweetness and pungency of the truffle honey worked well with the sharp creaminess of the stilton and they almost seemed to equal each other out and create a smoother end result

The scent of the honey is extremely powerful and can be a little acrid for those unfamiliar with truffles

Extremely potent this is likely to be something of a love it or hate it product if given as a gift as indeed i did

Its more of an exotic kitchen ingredient more suitable to pairing with savoury dishes
