Pros & Cons
Pros
This oil adds a mellow and savory taste to sautéed vegetables. More complex, pleasant, no artificial flavoring. It’s just perfect, flavorful and arrived quickly.
Favorite use—on my homemade white pizza with mushrooms, drizzled on it after cooking. Perfect for cooking scrambled eggs. Our risotto recipe is very close to theirs. I love it added to my farro and mushrooms dish.
Scent and flavor are such personal experiences, and truffle oil is a difficult search without samples under any circumstances. Truffle bits in the oil. Great on french fries too.
Cons
It smells and tastes very artificial. It has a mild truffle taste followed by a strong chemical taste. What you are buying is an olive oil, with a lab-created chemical added to it.
Don't make my mistake. This is completely unacceptable. Not worth it. Such a waste of money.
