Pros & Cons
Pros
This allows you to leave it hooked on your bow if you like. I will keep the tru fire edge 4 as an emergency release in case, god forbid, i lose or misplace the new one. Very smooth release.
The thumb lever is exceptionally smooth, almost to a fault. The longer lever travel and lack of a crisp release point really help when trying to teach this technique. After several arrows shot i can tell my accuracy is actually better tighter grouping... Read More
The jaw is spring loaded and is normally closed. It rotates smoothly, is silent to operate, and can be left hanging on the bow while hunting in a tree. Each successive time your clip on to your d-loop, the swivel head turns again. Great release swivel... Read More
Cons
The release is too long to be used as a tension release, so it can really only be used for thumb actuation. In the middle of drawing back my bow this product released without touching the trigger.
The closing strength of the jaw is weak, and if even the tiniest piece of debris gets in there it can fail on draw. There is a design fault where the jaws loosen themselves as the release is used. Luckily my bow wasn't damaged.
Highlights
Quality
For what it is it is a good product
Fits very well in my medium sized hand and i like how quality the build seems
Many of the reviews lead you to believe that the quality control may be lacking causing the release aid to misfire
And then i had my first misfire the release aid let the arrow fly with the bow halfdrawn
Price
Like i said this was well worth the price for 1 years use
Packaging/appearance
I ripped the edge release out of the package to try it on my bow and it dry fired my bow mid draw
What the instructions do not tell you is that each time you attach the swivel head to your dloop the 360degree rotating head turns
Competitiveness
What a difference after a few adjustments with draw length and my sights i was grouping arrows in a 1inch circle
As a new archery hunter i found this is easier for me to use over the standard releases
My adjustments with my draw length was minor actually shortened it by a 12inch

When it comes to a bow release you get what you pay for meaning that if you buy the cheapest one available don’t be surprised when it’s a piece of junk

Even the 300 options at the local shop were not as good allaround as this
