I havent used it yet but i can see that if people dont like anything around their neck they wont like this pillow

I sprinkled lavender on the scarf and so not only was my neck warm my head comfortable but when raised up it shielded out the lights and also unwanted smells and people coughing

The pillow seems so unusual compared to the usual pillowneck brace light easy to pack not at all bulky
