Pros
The quality of the paper is pretty good. It's a little thinner than watercolor paper which means the paper lends itself well to a variety of mediums including color pencils. The pages for this are very sturdy.
This coloring thing is addictive! One of the best coloring books available today. This book is more of an artist type of book so one should be somewhat comfortable with doing the coloring books so they aren't overwhelmed with this one.
Cons
This book is not a good book for markers which i use the most. The pages are double-sided so that may be a problem with markers bleeding through. The paper it is printed on, is slick with little or no tooth and feels as if it is coated with something.... Read More

The pages are printed on both sides and some of the picture are two page spreads

I usually cut the pages out of a book to make it easier to color but that is hard with this book because of the two page spread

Never use alcohol markers on a doublesided colouring book they bleed through anything and spoil the back side of the page

If you like markers stick to waterbased ones such as tombows or crayolas

For a beginner i think this book is in fact too intricate and could throw off the new colorist

The only thing i didnt like were the pages that were half completed where you are suppose to finish the design
