Pros
Great product as it drains fast, holds water the right amount of time. Drains well but holds moisture. Holds just enough water to keep the kids happy without causing root rot.
My plants thrive in this media. They seem to do well with it even without regularly adding fertilizer. Already seen sign of rejuvenation to my bonsai.
Cons
Ficus are pretty resilient and this stuff is killing them. This so called soil is pretty much small rock and clay.

The photo is mini jade portulicaria afra that is standing in this media on its own it is not wired into the pot as is with the much lighter premium mix

You must water it over a sink because to thoroughly soak the media water drains so fast it will pour out the bottom of your pot

Once the water is pouring out the bottom your plant is thoroughly watered
