This is the 2nd one we’ve bought for my siamese mix over 2. My kittens love this thing. Exactly as pictured. My honeybunny fur baby is in love with it.
It's a little bit tricky attaching the bottom when it starts to get tight. Included a statement to obtain assembly instructions online if missing in package. To assemble (without stress) put this together upside-down.
Cons
Taking this apart repeatedly is just a complete headache. The concept is great and i really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the following issues make this an item i can't recommend.
The cardboard poles are not completely covered leaving 1/2 inch exposed where two poles are * together. The post is much smaller and thus, does not protrude into the sleep space. The hammock is so flimsy and cheap.
It is not the shipper's fault that they sent me two few thread bolts and one extra screw. These thread bolts they send are not american--and they don't tell you the size. Assembly is literally three steps, but it’s impossible because of the two blocks... Read More
The design of it makes it unsteady, not the construction of it. At this point, i think i'm entitled to a partial refund for the construction hassles. You can't go to 3/8, that's way too small.

Kitty wanted to be all over this thing the moment we took it out of the box
As nice as this one is by the time you finally got it put together you felt like throwing it in the dumpster

One of the holes to place a screw to tunnel piece to the base was hard and it was black like it was burnt

The tunnel is very small and when they were about 3 12 months old i pushed them gently through it so they would know what it was but they never once attempted to use that part

The hammock piece arrived with one of the sides that screws into the tree broken
