Pros

Scratching post helps cats stay strong and nimble. Sturdy enough for maine * kitten (10lbs) and affordable. My cat really likes to claw at it and it has yet to tip over.

This scratching post is just over two feet tall, giving my cat an excellent stretch, and is wrapped with very durable fiber rope. Great to have a cat scratcher in each room (multiple if possible) keeps them away from scratching up the carpet.
