Pros

Thoroughly enjoyed this book from first page to last. Looking fwd to reading book two. Given it's his series, i hope that improves when i move on to the second one.

There are not many stories that grab my attention and this one sure did the trick! She inserts many small interesting tidbits about each character that pulls you into the story. Non-stop action and twists from the start.

The first one is angie polaski. Angie reminds me a little bit of lena but i'm hoping i won't hate her as much as i hated lena in the grant series. Amanda actually makes me laugh out loud. Karin * nails it again!

I find this to be an excellent quirk to add. It pulls you in like a magnet. To the point where you either need to sign yourself into the cardiac ward of the hospital.

Cons

Her characters are beyond complex, especially in the first half of the book; they're obtuse.
