Pros

The 15 amp breaker is used to power a battery charger and an extension cord.

Metal body is sturdy and built in circuit breaker are a plus. Have turned off strips inadvertently in the past.

This fits the bill perfectly. It's functional and reliable. It handles it fine.

It has tabs on the sides with a dimple you can drill out. The outlets are spaced close together though.

Cons

This is not true. The product photo is incorrect. Maybe just a fluke.

Between the heavy cable and the metal construction with its own breaker this is an example of how power strips should be made

Get yours now before it goes up to 75

I bought two back in 2016 for 15 each

It is a lot overpriced but i wanted a good one

Competitiveness

I purchased this outlet strip along with several tripp lite isobar outlet strips

This thing wont function any better no but heres an example

Some large adapters could block an adjacent outlet but tripp lite does make other models with wider spacing if you need that

Power switches that arent covered sometimes get whacked and turned off by accident

I wish i knew of a power strip manufacturer that provided those switch covers without the metal industrial housing but im usually hiding the power strip anyways so it doesnt matter much to me

It has a breaker on it that has popped once or twice when i had my air compressor plugged into it though that is a good thing

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Id much rather the breaker pop than to have a fire

It is made of strong materials with heavy metal housing

Then i have an extension cord going out to my car powering a battery tender charger from the 15 amp breaker tripp lite power strip

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So the tripp lite power strip is between the car and the 20 amp outlet

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I do not like having 16 gauge wire extension cord on a 20 amp breaker
