Pros

The plug attached to the line conditioner out of the box is a normal15a plug, so you're instructed to cut the end off and wire up the included 20a adapter in order to get the full 2400w. A five or six volt circuit drop is not sufficient to cause the u...  Read More

It does exactly what it describes. Nothing has been damaged. This conditioner mananges the surge very well and solved the problem. I feel like it definitively would do this.

Internal relay is loud, but if it's clicking a lot you should look into. The clicking means the internal relay is switching transformer tape to maintain consistent line voltage at the output and that means it's working.

Between our washer and dryer, the combined max load of both appliances is around 2160w. That's still enough for just the washer so i'm happy. Only small downside is if i get a power outage i might lose all my unsaved work.

Cons

This also needs to be disclosed in the item description. Surge watts is not a useful rating when it comes to electronic equipment. The voltage is not constant, it is not at 120v, and the voltage meter on the ups says the volts coming out of the unit v...  Read More

The unit has obnoxious coil whine. It hums even when none of the connected equipment is powered on. It emits a constant hum, regardless of whether anything is plugged in.

I have lots of power fluctuations and of course the unit clicks fairly frequently

In theory cleaner input to the power supply should also mean cleaner output for better stability and less need for error correction

Seriously this is not a linear regulated power supply

Dont burn it with a laser beam it does not like that

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Frankly if your end point equipment had a better ps or power distribution in it most of your issues would go away

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I have had other tripp lite devices and most have worked great only the battery backup ups was disappointing

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The indicator lights show the line voltage regulation

    It is relatively cheap protection
