I tried some cheap cat5e i had laying around and it did not work at all green led was very dim 25ft run

I pulled the connectors tried to resize the cables so they were as close as possible to identical length and repunched the connections

Its not glitch at all if you wire it properly which isnt extremely difficult if you keep track of the wires within your ethernet cable properly
