So at the end of the day i had to plug extenders into this device in order to not block outlets and plug in everything that i needed

No big deal in that particular application however this power strip would not have worked for my computer and desk power strip because i have the strip right next to the computer and the indicator lights would be distracting

The only other criticism i would have is that if you have large power adapters to plug into the strip the adapter might cover the switch because of the close orientation of the switch to the outlet

Laptops computers and phones are too expensive to not have the power source protected
