Tripplite units are a great battery backup. Keeps internet up during long outages, eg right now powers been out for over an hour. No lag or dropout when it loses wall power. Very nice backup.
Smart500rt1u appliance comes with a small instruction manual that explains how to install and mount the hardware. Make sure that you add up all the wattage and vac requirements for everything you will attach to this device.

Kind of upset because if there were any type of mount in the back i could adjust my rack but there is not even screw holes on the side to mount the rear so now im looking at another 45 to be able to mount this heavy beast

Requiring a rack rail also means this will end up being 2u instead of 1u because the rails will take up a rack space alone
