Pros

Easy to use, very versatile. simple and straight forward. Overall, a good device with few drawbacks. One drawback is the layout.

These are nice little meters, inexpensive, reasonably accurate and precise.

The leads fit nicely on the side with a small plastic flap to cover the tips. The probes are supple, and there is a temperature measuring thermistor probe.

The hard case is more durable than the ones with the soft plastic cases. It protects both the meter and the leads inside. The cover folds over nicely with a slot that only closes if the dial is in the off position.

Measurements include capacitance, frequency, and duty cycle. Doesn't have a battery test feature, but does have hfe. Can measure up to 10 hz.

Cons

Plastic case is thin and fragile. Biggest problem is short leads which do not disconnect from the meter. Other people seem to be happy with it, but i'm out $25, a battery, and i have to buy another multimeter.

Very rugged units owned two of this meters for several years and have used them on my electronic projects automotive etc

This multimeter is sturdy compact and meets each of my requirements

Within about a year or two one of the lead wires broke right at the probe

I just dug mine out of a tool drawer after not being used in about a year and noticed the resistance readings were off

And it’s so inexpensive that you can own several one kept in your car one kept in each tool box one kept in your briefcase etc

These are nice little meters inexpensive reasonably accurate and precise and easytouse

You could buy a sixpack of these for little more than 100

I returned it and received a prompt replacement from amazon

All the functions i usually need in a small lite package

If i had to package it up and close it to put in a pocket i would not be happy with it
