Its design prevents the unit from being left on both by auto shutoff after 1520 minutes and by its clever design whereby the lid will not close without the dial being on the off position

One caveat though is that the leads are very thin which will affect durability non removable and the probes are short

The meter jumps around in rel and in auto does not measure in picofarads
