The rmr i received was real i called trijicon to verify and they told me everything about it down to the day it was made and when exactly they sold it to amazon

The type 2 rmr improved the performance of the led but consider having a set of suppressorheight tritium phosphor sights on your pistol so if the battery should fail when need to use your pistol you can cowitness your fixed sights through the 1x rmr optic

Also without reading glasses i can see the red dot in the optic clearly and can see to “cowitness” the fixed sights should the battery loose power

Based on the reviews i was weary of getting a knockoff version but the one i got which i ordered directly from amazon rather than a third party appears to be genuine
