Pros

The fact that this is made in india is a cherry on the cake. The packaging in the round box is pretty nice. The container it comes in is also top quality. The packing is premium and they have done a good job here.

The lather produced during shave is thick and smooth. The soap provides good lubrication with the skin and the razor can do its job without giving any razor burns.

This is what has been missing in my shaving routine. Which makes it portable when traveling. It's my first time usage and i am really impressed.

The fragrance feels fresh, crisp and light reminding you of stormy seas. The fragrance on opening the box is nice. Classy and very nice smell. Fragrance is a grade.

The soap is firm and had enough room for the brush to lather up. Excellent lathering even with 4-5 brush strokes. Lather is smooth and thick and blade glides.

I must say i am extremely impressed with the quality of the soap

Lather quality is high and is very slick

If you want a quality product that will last for a while

But this is way efficient 7 seconds with the brush in it and i can get 2 smooth passes

Price

Ive been using this for 34 months now and ive been happy but the only downside is the price

The tin feels premium the scent is great and the lather is good too which does justify the price in a way

The price is obviously at the higher end

Only grouse is price seems a bit overpriced

The soap lathers very easily the lather is thick the scent is great and the packaging is great

The packaging in the round box is pretty nice

The best part is it is made in india and packaging is in a metal round rather than plastic

Packaging could be a bit more luxurious though

Competitiveness

After using proraso shaving soap i bought this one

Have been using creams and soaps across different variants of proraso truefitt and hill taylor of old bond street bodyshop etc

I would not buy this again by paying 500rs

I used to think a soap needs a preshave oil to make it work
