I would recommend splashing your face with some water and then using a damp washcloth to wipe away excess water before applying as that gives the product more lather than if you apply on dripping wet skin

Its great for reducing the frequency of flareups i really hate waking up with painfully hot cheeks and i think most will share the sentiment but it does not seem to have any apparent effect on the actual color of my face
