It seemed to have great protection but there were two things that swayed me in the kraken direction the price and the fact that the case channeled the speaker to the front of the ipad also the name kraken sounds cooler that case has been great i have dropped that ipad 2 so many times it was like i was trying to make it a sport

The case fits the ipad air 2 perfectly and the builtin screen protector is flush to the ipad and doesnt affect the responsiveness

I wouldnt go dunking it in water and the touch screen doesnt work properly when wet but that can be expected with any touch screen

Would have given it 5 stars except the hole covers for the earphones and charger wont stay closed

There is only one thing i dont like about though at the top of the case on the front there are 2 small holes

It costs only a third of the otter case
