The vfo/pto on these radios is lubricated with grease and eventually the grease gets hard and the vfo will no longer turn making it impossible to tune the transceiver.

Not true unless you have an old lock that takes a skeleton key - it has room to allow the graphite to gather below the locking mechanism.

Better still, the oil is infused with teflon, making this stuff ultra slippery.

Use one lube for virtually anything hard to turn doorknobs, squeaky hinges, sticking window jambs and it will even keep motor bearings lubricated and spinning.

Triflow may be considerably more costly than most lubes, but you get what you pay for.

Truth be told, if need a lubricant and a penetrating oil, then you've got to go with triflow.

It's not the most advanced spray lube, nor the slipperiest spray, but no one denies it works when you need to lubricate.
