The converter just does not work -- nothing happens and the printer simply does not receive any message from the netbook. This poorly made item seems to have functionality until you to try to use it.

Once i got the correct print driver from the windows 7 update the printer performed flawlessly i could not notice any difference of the connection parallel or usb

I had an old but reliable hp laserjet 4l which has only a parallel connection and as you may already know the new computers do not have a parallel port

When i switched to vista i was worried that my hp laserjet 6p would have difficulties connecting to a usb connection as my new machine did not have any old printer cable slots
