If you are getting 3 bars or less the internet quality is severely limited with any card

I have found that by adjusting the antennas and routing wires away from adapter that i can get 4 bars with the trendnet wifi adapter

Unless youre using this for pointtopoint this is a great price

Im not sure who the oem is but if you should do a quick price check on these other cards before buying this
