Pros & Cons
Pros
This is all about the crimping and the beautiful ratchet action on this tool works every time. Crimps the connectors firmly. It's great when you accidentally slip or need to adjust your grip, and ensures you crimp correctly.
Worth paying the bit extra for over the cheapest ones. Highly recommend spending the little extra and getting something worth every penny.
Cons
The “wire cutter’ doesn’t cut, the spare blade falls out of its holder and there are no wire tools. The blade does not cut the wire when it has been punched in. You need excessive force to punch down.

The build quality on this is second to none
Decent quality buy this and forget about those plastic abominations unless you only have one socket to do
Competitiveness
The trendnet punch down came recommended so decided to give it a try
Before buying these i had used a cheap pair of crimpers that came with some cable i had bought
Very happy with them you dont know what you are missing until you buy a proper crimper for network cable
Solid robust crimpers with a positive ratchet action

Not just a clone but actually pressed in the same factory this is one of the only tools which knipex outsource as theres just no sense in making them themselves
