Pros

Each wire lights up individually and consecutively to tell you if the wiring is good. This is the second one i have bought, after some idiot plugged the receiver unit of my first set into a live poe circuit and blew it out.

Cons

Only used lightly for wiring my house back in 2013. You better know where your line goes ahead of time because if you guess wrong and plug it in to something that is live you will blow the leds. Would recommend spending extra money for better tester f... Read More

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of the cheap price has been forgotten. The build quality is cheap, however.

Device stops working two months after purchase due to a part that is dirt cheap and some shoddy workmanship. Trendnet rma requires you pay for shipping both ways ($40) to replace it. Worked for about a week, used on about 6 data drops.

I could not find the nt2 model so i bought other economic models but they all test wirepairs
