Adjusting the height is easy - you twist the lower section of the pole (that is going into the upper section) to the left (there are arrows printed on the poles pointing which directions are twist open vs.

Pros:they are functional and do the job they are meant, which is offer support and stabilitythey collapse and have a carrying bagthey come with different feet for different terrainscons:the feet are tricky to change outthe sticks don't always lock in place well and slide downthe wrist straps on one was defective and didn't release welli received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
