Pros & Cons
Pros
Purchase a gatorbag on the recommendation of the city forester for a young tree on the easement between the street and sidewalk. Brilliant invention, happy tree, happy gardener.
You fill the bag into the hole hidden under the product tag, which flips up. It takes only 5 minutes to fill, leaving my hose free for other uses and avoids having to set up a sprinkler system. Fill bag every few days with a garden hose, easy peasy.
It is very easy to fix that. Lift it up, and rotate the bag.
Cons
One bag sits up on a mound, so that should not cause the treegator to not drain properly. The next day 95% of the water had already leaked out. After 3 days, there's still 1/3 water left in bags that won't drain at all.
Treegator bag has hole ib it which squirts water. The packaging on this watering bag says it releases the water over 5-9 hours. It is poorly made, the leak causes the water to drain out immediately.
Great idea, poor implementation. Very disappointing for almost $49. Misleading description.

I would purchase again as the price is right and good quality
Only drawback besides cost more than inferior products is that hole you use to insert hose is a little awkward
Just remember you get what you pay for
