Pros

The price is very reasonable, the cover is sturdy, smells wonderful and everything i wanted. The quality is absolutely top notch! Compared to the higher priced midori and other brands the quality and workmanship os outstanding.

The leather is thick and supple the stitching is perfect. Smells like leather without the chemically dyed or 'dead animal' smell some leather products have.

The extra spine reinforcement makes it work much better than other traveler's style journals. All 4 are held comfortably in the cover, with room to spare for tucking in papers, tickets, etc.

The stitching is perfect. Also, the stitching is machine done, without being sunk into any kind of stitching groove.

The pockets/card slots/ organizers/etc. Are all well sized, easy to slide cards/ etc. Into. The pockets hold my cards snugly enough that i actually doubt that will be a problem. The cover is thick but not bulky.

Cons

No one climbs a mountain in leaps. Replacement was sent quickly, but sadly has the same issue.
