I solved the issue by cutting out my own handle see picture but the manufacturer should have thought of this during the design process

It wasnt advertised to include it and frankly if you need to scuff your shoes before you clean them theyre too dirty

We got the full size board for the coach to use for the team but she does additional activities and the team board is not always available

When the product arrived it clearly stated on the large front labeling that there was a shoe scuff on top of the unit
