    The cord still reaches to where the port is inserted

    In the first image you see the normal way that the usb cord is installed into the backpack

    Finally in the fourth image you see the port that you can plug your smart device into as you see it on the top right corner of the back of the backpack

    Note if you need a bit of extra distance from your backpack to your smart device you can just barely poke the male end of the usb cord through the opening you see in the fourth image from the outside to the inside which lets the female end that you see in the fourth image be outside the backpack

    I also noticed that some 16 laptops will not fit in the 16 compartment shown on the main product page and in the fifth image in this review

    But this is not a problem as i was able to fit both my 16 and 17 laptops into the compartment where you see the books in the product picture
