It is a thin rubber so if you dropped your tablet i dont see it saving it

The case worked great i would recommend the case but the screen protector didnt work for me my grandson dropped his tablet while playing with it and the screen cracked on him

I had to enlarge the usb hole and the top and bottom overlays are not flush
