Pros & Cons
Pros
Sturdy and secure. It is very secure for someone who needs assistance with transfers and mobility.
Saves the back when transferring to bed to wheelchair and commode. Specially when the patient seat without pants (in the toilet) also recommend getting yourself a back brace as it will help from straining your back.
The padded handles are a game changer. Fits well and the handles are sturdy.
The buckle is nice in that you can adjust the belt once, then it is just click on and off. The big thumbs up is that it doesn't pinch me like the thinner gait belts do. I like that it’s adjustable.
Cons
Main complaint is that this belt loosens up during transfers. The buckle is not sturdy enough.
