My culinary experience spans almost 40 years. I like using cookware that's low maintenance. Stainless steel cookware is the best.
The tramontina prima is a decent substitution, the lid is not tight-fitting. The size is just the right size, 5 quart. Searing is excellent.
Two-ply corrugated cardboard. No scratches in them after 5 years of *. On ebay, you see this going for around the same price as this tramontina.

The handle is very thick and tapered. The cover is very thin and tinny. The 3 quart size has a bonded thick bottom and thin sides.
