Tram 1089 pulls in everything from low /hi/uhf and uhf trunking much better then the supplied antenna on my bearcat bcd-996p2. It receives very good on vhf and uhf. Using it to pickup local pc 39mhz and fd 150mhz.

The scanner is weak, but with this antenna it boosted its receiving abilities 10 fold. The magnet is powerful too. Picks up amazingly for my uniden scanner.
Cons
Good antenna but the cable is no where near the advertised 17ft cable. I guess they're only good for about 10,000 miles before the metal in the rod becomes fatigued enough that it quits. When a false product description makes the product un-usable it ... Read More
